Golda Doran

Golda Harper Doran, age 96, of Pennsauken passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, May 16, 2017 surrounded by her family.

Wife of the late Walter Doran, grandmother of the late James Doran, she is survived by her children, Walter Doran, Nancy Doran (Bill Halpin), Evelyn Gonzalez; seven treasured grandchildren, Steve Doran, Brian Doran, Michael Racobaldo (Bridget), Nicole Racobaldo, Richard Racobaldo (Beth), Denise Gattone (Michael), Jimmy Halpin; and a “fake” grandmother to George Strider. Golda “Gigi” was also loved by her twelve great-grandchildren.

Golda was a longtime member of Grace Episcopal Church in Merchantville who loved Big Band music, dancing, the Phillies, crossword puzzles, and cherished anytime she could spend with her loving grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held 9:30 to 11 am, Tuesday, May 23rd at Grace Episcopal Church, 7 East Maple Avenue, Merchantville, NJ 08109. Requiem Eucharist will be celebrated at 11 am. Interment will follow in Arlington Cemetery, Pennsauken. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church in her memory.
