Richard R. LaMarra

Richard R. LaMarra, age 78, of Clementon passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017 with his devoted daughter Gina at his side. A longtime Pennsauken resident, Richard was a retired Detective Lieutenant for the Pennsauken Police Dept. for over 22 years and Past President of the FOP Garden State Lodge #3. As a testament to his strong will, Richard battled cancer in 1977 and furiously fought M.S. for over 30 years.

Son of the late Peter & Anna LaMarra; brother of the late Anthony LaMarra and Thomas LaMarra; he is survived by his two beloved children, Gina Keegan (nee LaMarra), Michael LaMarra; six loving grandchildren, Richard Mandis, Chelsea Keegan, Natasha Park, Nicole Orth, Michael Orth, Joseph Orth; four cherished great-grandchildren; three caring brothers, Peter, Fred, & Charles LaMarra; several dear nieces & nephews; and his best friend and ray of sunshine, Meg McGrath.

A visitation will be held Friday, October 20th from 7 to 8:30 pm at the GASKILL-BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 33 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville. Funeral service will follow at 8:30 pm.
