William S. Bauer Sr., longtime Pennsauken resident, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Friday, October 20, 2017. He was 83. Bill was born in Maple Shade in 1934 and joined the US Navy in 1952. After returning home from the war, he settled with his family in Pennsauken where he worked until retirement at the Langston Corp. in Cherry Hill.
Husband of the late Darla J. Bauer; father of the late William S. Bauer Jr, he is survived by his beloved children, Valerie M. Bauer and Robert Bauer, both of Pennsauken.
Funeral service will be held 11 am, Monday, October 23rd at the Gaskill-Brown Funeral Home, 33 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville. Visitation will be from 10 am until time of service. Interment will follow in the Arlington Cemetery, Pennsauken. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family. For more information and condolences please visit www.gaskillbrown.com
