Mr. Ferrante was my Scoutmaster in the mid 60's. Troop 9 met at Linden Baptist church. He would take a bunch of us young African-American boys from North Camden camping, rock climbing, caving and even on canoe trips. I never called him to tell him thank-you from the bottom of my heart for the time he spent teaching us how to be a good man. Thanks Mr. Ferrante!

Linda - i will only have wonderful memories of Albert. He was a good guy - a good person - and someone with whom i enjoyed sharing stories. Over the years I have only met a few people who have consistently been as good natured as Albert. I will truly miss him.

I was very saddened to hear of the death of my long time friend.
Al and his family were close friends of my family and myself.
I remember many good times spent in his company. I apologize for not being able to come into town for his service. My health is not the best. I am now 84.
Please accept my most sincere condolences on the passing of Al.
Sincerely,

Hans ((Bubi) Greiser

It was with sorrow that I learned of the passing of Albert Ferrante. My father, William, Sr., would take me to his father's shop where we both had our hair cut by his father, Vincent. At that time Albert was a young man just learning the trade. Fond memories of the Ferrante family. My prayers for Albert, an esteemed son, and his surviving family. May God rest his soul.

Albert was a very spiritual , loving, generous person. He was also quite funny, told a lot of jokes made me laugh all the time. He also had a lot of wisdom & told some great stories. Both Larry & I enjoyed spending time with both Linda & Albert, we went on a few vacations with them & had so much fun , especially when we went to Gatlinburg & Dollywood. Great times. I really enjoyed his stories. He was always there to help someone when needed. He will be missed.

I have known Albert most of my life and can only think of him as a kind generous, fun loving guy, as was his whole family . I met Albert thru his brother Renold and we canoed and camped in Canada together for several years. Albert told jokes continually for a week and never repeated himself. He and his family Mother, Father, brother Vincent and brother Reynolds became a large part of my life and will be sadly missed, but when I think of Albert, I will always have a Smile.

It is with a heavy heart that I fondly recall the many hours, experiences and laughs that I shared over the years with Albert Ferrante. I first got to know Albert as a physical therapy patient but our relationship quickly developed into one of friendship.

In addition to being a kind, selfless, generous and good-hearted man, I and others in my office also recognized Albert Ferrante as being a man of wisdom. His many years of faithful service to the Lord through his church and his many hours of listening/counseling others in the barbershop chair allowed Albert to become a man that was rich in both life experience and perspective. Albert's ability to listen, understand and then help others in their time of need was one of the things that made him such a special person. Albert had an uncanny ability to quickly retrieve a humorous story or relevant joke and then expertly deliver his "message" in a way that was sure to bring about about a much needed smile, insight or laugh.

As I and probably everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him can attest, Albert Ferrante was a very special guy and he will be greatly missed. My thoughts, prayers and sympathies are with the Ferrante family.
