Jane S. Howell

Jane Sutor Howell, age 94, of Merchantville, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2017 surrounded by her family.

Wife of the late William B. Howell, Jane is survived by her daughter Nancy (Michael) Perry; son David Howell; granddaughters, Kristina (Ryan) Strohm and Shannon Dunay; great-grandsons Conner Deussing, Georgie Deussing and Adam Strohm; beloved relatives and many friends.

Jane spent her entire life as a resident of Merchantville. She was a graduate of Ursinus College with a Bachelor of Arts and taught Social Studies and English. Jane worked for Bradlees for years and most recently as a sales person at Bayard’s Chocolate House. She was known for her sharp mind and amazing memory. Jane was an avid reader, loved socializing and playing bridge with her friends.
