Jerome J. Williams

Jerome J. “Jerry” Williams passed away Wednesday, August 02, 2017. He was 94. A Pennsauken, NJ resident for over 53 years, Jerry proudly served his country during WW II and Korea. He had retired from the Pennsauken School District as Maintenance Supervisor and was a lifelong member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Merchantville, NJ.

Jerry was very active in his community, having been a Scout Leader and longtime volunteer in the Boy Scouts Troop 119, Past Master of Merchantville Lodge #119 of F&AM, Past President of the Camden County Shrine, Past Patron of the Merchantville Eastern Star, Past President of the High Twelve - Nelson Craig Chapter, member of the Royal Order of Scotland, American Legion, Burlington County Shrine, the Shepherd’s Group of the Shriners Children’s Hospital, Knights of Mecca, AASR Valley of South Jersey, Crescent Shrine Director’s Staff, and the 2004 Crescent Shrine Illustrious Potentate. 

Husband of the late Elizabeth, he is survived by his two loving children, Diane Deeds (Robert), Robert Williams (Rosemary); three cherished grandchildren, Samantha, Peter, Thomas; a caring sister, Mary Kronick; four step-granddaughters, and eleven step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 11 am, Wednesday, August 9th at the Gaskill-Brown Funeral Home, 33 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville, NJ. A visitation will be held from 10 am until time of service. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Trinity United Methodist Church, 36 W.
