Alfred J. Berni

Alfred J. Berni, of Cherry Hill passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025. He was 78. Alfred retired after a long and distinguished career as a Philadelphia Police Officer. He was a proud member of the Philadelphia F.O.P. and St. Peter RC Church in Merchantville.

Son of the late Alfred and Madeline Berni; Father of the late Jonathan Berni; he is survived by his loving wife of over 22 years, Margaret Walsh, and a large extended family who loved him.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Tuesday, September 30th from 8:30 am to 9:30 am at the Gaskill-Brown Funeral Home, 33 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 am at St. Peter RC Church, 43 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
