Anna R. Garber formerly of Voorhees passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023. She was 89. Born and raised in Camden, Anna had retired from RCA in Camden. She cherished her family dearly, especially if it included shopping and going out to eat. Anna was an avid animal lover who especially had a place in her heart just for cats. She had always enjoyed her trips to Ocean City, NJ.
Wife of the late Ambrose Garber; daughter of the late John and Anna Litle; she is survived by three beloved children, the late Denise Mervine (Gary), Joann Starkweather (John), Dennis Garber (Carol); a dear sister, Doris Litle; three caring grandchildren, Lauren Smalley, Steven Mervine, and Marisa Starkweather; and four great-grandchildren, Scott, Colin, Benjamin, and Jacob.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family on Monday, October 23rd from 12 to 1 pm at the Gaskill-Brown Funeral Home, 33 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville. Funeral service will follow at 1 pm. Interment will be in Arlington Cemetery, Pennsauken. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Parkinson’s Foundation, (parkinson.org)
