Ardella Pearson

Ardella “Dell” Flowers-Pearson passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Majestic Center in Camden. Born December 26, 1955, Daughter of Mattie and Andrew Flowers Sr.. She was also given the nickname “Shorty.”

Dell attended elementary school at Sewell and Northeast, Hatch Jr. High and Camden High School. She had worked at Leggett & Platt as an assembly person, and later at Serta Mattress and J&J Snack Foods Corp. Dell was a loving person who enjoyed being a grandmother and the time spent with her family.

Daughter of the late Mattie West Flowers; mother of the late Ebony Flowers; sister of the late Andrew Flowers Jr.; and wife of the late Paul J. Pearson, she is survived by her sons, Merel Flowers (Tammy), Eric Flowers, Justin Flowers; a daughter, Chanel Jones; three granddaughters, Nylah Flowers, Teagan Flowers, Teagan Brown; two sisters, Bertha Mae Flowers, Betty Ann Flowers; brother, Preston Steven Flowers (Sharon), Andrew Flowers III; her father Andrew Flowers Sr. (Linda); an uncle, John Flowers (Geraldine); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Her visitation will be held Monday, June 28, 2021 from 10 am until 12 pm at the Gaskill-Brown Funeral Home, 33 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville. Interment will be private.
