Barbara A. Edelschein, of Mount Laurel, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on August 21, 1960, Barbara had dedicated many years as a medical assistant and records clerk.
As the daughter of Armel and the late Nina Nutter, Barbara inherited a legacy of warmth and generosity that she carried throughout her life. She was the cherished wife of the late Steven Edelschein; Barbara's spirit will be forever remembered by her loving siblings, Steven and Ann Nutter, Mark Nutter, and Diane and Jim Whittendale; and her numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In her later years, Barbara found companionship and joy with Peter Zagorski, whose presence brought her comfort and happiness. She is also survived by her loving Aunt “Nan.”
Barbara's capacity for love extended beyond her human family to her four-legged friends. She adopted dogs over the years and was a supporter of the Burlington County Animal Shelter. Her several daily walks in Rancocas Woods with her dog were not just for her own enjoyment but also an opportunity to connect with nature and the community she held so dear.
As per her wishes, funeral services will be held privately.
