Bruce A. Reece was born to the late Eustace and Ruth Reece on January 31, 1947 in Bellmawr. He went home to be with the lord on March 15, 2023 at the age of 76. A graduate of Triton Regional High School he later served in the U.S. Army for 3 years. Following under his big brother, Doug, Bruce took on an apprenticeship with Otis Elevator Co. where he spent over 38 years. Bruce met the love of his life, Cynthia. They were married for 46 years and out of this union, they had three children: David, Stephanie, and Brian.
Bruce was an exceptional provider for his family throughout the years. You could catch Bruce in his spare time following his passion, working under the hood of his car, or for anyone else’s who needed help. Throughout all of his accomplishments and accolades, if you asked him what his greatest accomplishment was, he would tell you it was being a “Pop-Pop.” He adored his grandchildren, Torri and Robert. After retirement, he worked as a Bus Aide for Cinnaminson where he was loved by all of the children.
Bruce is proceeded in death by his son, David and his two brothers, Neil & Doug. He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his children, Stephanie Thress (Robert), Brian Reece; two sisters-in-law, Sandra (Mike), Barbara (Mike); his mother-in-law, Caroline Barone; a bonus daughter, Chy; two grandchildren, Torri Reece, Robert Thress; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing from 5 to 7 pm, Monday, March 20th. Funeral service will follow at 7 pm. Interment will be private.
