Carmen C. Chevere

Carmen Cecilia Chevere, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away on June 24, 2023 at the age of 81.  A kind and dedicated family woman, Carmen loved watching Spanish soap operas, word searches, crocheting and especially spending time with her dear grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Wife of the late Jose Chevere, she is survived by her two beloved children, Joseph Chevere, Brenda Chevere-Janiszewski (Dennis); three loving grandchildren, Benjamin Rivera, Michelle Janiszewski, Timothy Janiszewski; two cherished great-grandchildren, Hannah Rivera, Lily Rivera; and several caring siblings. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m., and again on Friday morning from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the Gaskill-Brown Funeral Home, 33 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville, NJ.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Friday at Saint Peter Roman Catholic Church, 43 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville, NJ.  Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
