Charlotte B. Hird

Charlotte B. Hird, of Cherry Hill died Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Veterans Home of NJ in Vineland after just celebrating her 91st birthday.

Wife of the late Earl Hird; mother of the late Patricia Hird; sister of the late Thomas Stiles, she is survived by her son, Dave E. Hird; two grandchildren, Dave C. Hird (Halle), Ali Goan (Tom); a great-granddaughter, Ella; a sister, Shirley Howey; and many nieces and nephews.

Charlotte will always be remembered as a loving and caring mother to her children. She had many fond memories of her youth growing up with her siblings in Camden.

Funeral service will be held 12 pm, Friday at the Gaskill Brown Funeral Home, 33 West Maple Ave., Merchantville. Interment will follow at the NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 11 am until time of service.
