Claire C. O’Neill-Burke, of Cherry Hill passed away Friday, September 11, 2020. She was 53. Born and raised in North East Philadelphia, Claire had moved to Cherry Hill with her husband, Steven over 20 years ago. She was a graduate of West Chester University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Fine Arts. Her creativity and artistic style had guided her for many years as a successful graphic designer including many healthcare and legal publications. Such a talent was also shared at home with her family as she loved the holidays, especially Halloween where she would create custom costumes for her children. One of her favorite things in this world was to give gifts to her children and those she loved on Christmas.
Daughter of the late James O’Neill, she is survived by her loving husband, Steven of 21 years; two cherished children, Clay and Lily Burke; her beloved mother, Elizabeth O’Neill; three caring sisters, Sharon Wright, Elizabeth Digiovanni (Louis), Bernadette Beideman (Warren); her dear mother & father-n-law, Patrick and Rosemarie Burke; and her loving nieces and nephews, Louis, Samantha, Jerry, Nicole, Brandon, Colin, Kayley, Megan, Michael, and Gina.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Monday evening, from 7 to 9 pm at the Gaskill-Brown Funeral Home, 33 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville. Face coverings and social distancing measures will be required. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am, Tuesday at St. Peter Church, 43 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville. Interment will follow in Arlington Cemetery, Pennsauken.
