Deborah J. Reasoner, 62, of Cherry Hill, NJ, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Jefferson Medical Center after battling cancer.
Born August 12,1957 in Lafayette, Indiana she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Ann (Thompson) Reasoner.
Deborah spent her childhood in Morristown, NJ and participated in Girl Scouts, YMCA Gymnastics and made many meaningful friendships in her Hillcrest neighborhood.
Deborah was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her children and taking pride in their accomplishments. She was known to many as a second mother, offering advice to friends in her Trenton neighborhood and humoring everyone with her "sarcasm." She enjoyed working as a baker in Superfresh in Hamilton, NJ and taking long bus rides in her free time to chat with her friends.
Deborah's greatest joy and most important role in life was being a grandmother. She enjoyed watching and participating in her grandchildren's lives. She beamed with pride as she watched and participated in their graduations, sporting events and milestones.
Surviving Deborah are three sons, Alan (Toscani) Reasoner, Richard (and his long time partner Latoya Balaam) and Brian Reasoner; three daughters, Jazmyn (James) Gentry, Elizabeth and Laycee Reasoner (Jamaal James); Brother, Carl (Linda)Reasoner; nine grandchildren and a host of children in law, nieces, nephews and close friends.
Deborah was predeceased by her longtime companion Jack Lucas JR.
