Diana M. (Lane) Rood

Diana Rood, born and raised in Merchantville, NJ, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025. She was 77. Diana was a devoted wife of 49 years to Charles Rood and a cherished mother to her four children, Christin LaRue, Kimberly Langbein,  Brian Rood, and Chuck Rood.  She will be lovingly missed by 9 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her two sisters,  Julia Graddy and Suzanne Tiemstra.  

Diana found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially in her many gardens, where she nurtured beauty and tranquility, and in her crafting, where she poured love into every creation. Her kindness, creativity, and warmth touched all who knew her.

She will be dearly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved her.

A private service will be held in her honor.
