Dorothy McWhirt Obituary

Dorothy H. McWhirt, of Florence passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021. She was 93. Dorothy was a longtime Burlington County resident who spent many years volunteering and fund raising for the Deborah Hospital Foundation. She was also a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Mount Holly. She was a kind and caring woman who adored her family.

Wife for 54 years of the late Samuel E. McWhirt Jr.; mother of the late Debbie L. Swanson and David McWhirt.  She is survived by her loving children and their spouses Judith L. and William Causey of S.C., Samuel E. III and Andrea McWhirt of Delaware, Robert L. and Elizabeth McWhirt of Virginia, Paul A. and Trish McWhirt of Florence. Twenty grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing from 10 to 11 am Tuesday, October 26th at the First Baptist Church of Mount Holly, 1341 Woodlane Rd., Eastampton.
