Francis G. Halsted

Francis G. Halsted, lifelong Pennsauken resident passed away Friday, February 11, 2022 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was 81. For many years he had owned & operated with his family Duffys Garden Center in Westmont. He also worked for Arett Sales in Cherry Hill. Francis was an avid sports fan who loved the Eagles, Phillies, and NASCAR. He was also Past President of the Westmont Lions Club. Fran loved his music, especially Jazz, Blues and Southern Rock.

He is survived by his loving wife Mary (nee Duffy) of 61 years; five loving children, Francis Halsted, David Halsted (Bethann), James Halsted, Susan Halsted-Bouton, Kevin Halsted (Jennifer); nine cherished grandchildren; two beloved great-granddaughters; a loving brother, David E. Halsted (Maryellen); and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Tuesday, February 15th from 5 to 7 pm at the Gaskill-Brown Funeral Home, 33 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville.
