George J. Albrecht, Jr. longtime Pennsauken resident passed away Wednesday July 7, 2021. He was 87. Born in Camden, to the late George and Edna Albrecht. George was a US Army veteran. He worked as a plumber following in his father’s footsteps. He was a longtime member of the Plumbers Local Union 690. He loved fishing, was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed going to breakfast every Saturday with friends.
He was married for 57 years to his late wife Nancy Albrecht (nee Pacenza). He is survived by his children, Michael (Tracey) Albrecht of Cherry Hill, Jeffrey Albrecht of Pennsauken, and Diana (Matthew) Kirk of Riverside. Grandchildren Sidney, Landry, Luke, Kelly, Noah, Tyler, and Jacob. Also survived by his brother Kenneth Albrecht of Boca Raton, FL, many nieces and nephews, and special nephew John (Annette) Pacenza of Little River, SC, and good friend Audrey Pickering of Cherry Hill. He will also be missed by his faithful pet Ginger.
