James L. Mallon of Merchantville passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021. He was 84. A US Navy Veteran, James was a member of the FW Grigg Post 68 of the American Legion, a longtime member of St. Peter RC Church and Adoration Society, and had coached Merchantville Little League for many years.
Brother of the late Joseph and John Mallon, he is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Jane of over 59 years; four loving children, Kathleen Polimeni, Theresa Hinchman (Richard), James V. Mallon (Jessica), Rosemary Napoli (Andy); seven cherished grandchildren, Donte, Jacob, Matthew, Tyler, Finnegan, Christian, Julian; seven caring siblings, Catherine Biasello, Vivian Sambucci, Robert Mallon, Dennis Mallon, Patricia Gain, Leo Call, Susan Linder; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 8:30 am to 9:30 am, Tuesday, November 30th at the Gaskill-Brown Funeral Home, 33 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 am St. Peter RC Church, 43 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Samaritan, PO Box 71425, Philadelphia, PA 19176.
