Janet A. Black, of Cherry Hill, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on July 23, 1946, Janet's life was a tapestry woven with the love of family, the joy of travel, and the warmth of countless friendships.
Janet's heart found its match in Ronald Black Sr., and together they built a life rich in laughter and mutual respect. Their enduring love was a testament to their commitment, celebrated in over 59 years of marriage.
She was the proud and devoted mother of Ronald Black Jr. and his wife, Linda, and Andrew Black and his wife, Lisa. Janet's legacy continued to blossom with her five grandchildren, Andrea, Devon, Christopher, Nicholas, and Brody, who were the light of her life. Each of them carries a part of her spirit, her teachings, and her unconditional love. Janet also held a special place in the hearts of her several nieces and nephews, who will miss her dearly.
Janet's zest for life was evident in her love for vacationing and traveling. She believed in the power of new experiences and the beauty of creating memories in different corners of the world.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family from 5 pm to 6 Pm, Friday, August 8th at the Gaskill-Brown Funeral Home, 33 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville.
