John J. DeVece Sr.

John J. DeVece, of Merchantville passed away Monday, February 20, 2023. He was 87. Born and raised in Philadelphia, John was a longtime Delran resident. Upon his retirement from the drafting engineering field, he had most recently enjoyed working as a Valet at the Manheim Auto Auction. John loved fishing, crabbing, and all of the Philadelphia sports teams.

Father of the late John DeVece; he is survived by his loving wife of over 52 years, Dolores (nee Nero); a devoted daughter, Maria Benjamin (Eric); and two cherished grandchildren, Abby Benjamin and Mason Adams.

As per his wishes, his services will be private and held at the convenience of his family.
