John Walker Obituary

John H. “Johnnie” Walker passed away Friday, April 24, 2020. He was 85. A longtime resident of Pennsauken, Johnnie was a United States Marine Corps veteran, an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Maple Shade, a forty-two year employee of Rohm and Haas in Philadelphia, Drove for Safety Bus in the Pennsauken and Merchantville area, PYAA coach, and Pennsauken Apache Band Booster President. He loved any time he could spend at the Pennsauken Pool and his beloved Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles.

Husband of the late Marion Walker, he is survived by his two loving children, Denise Rose and Kenneth Walker; three beloved grandchildren, Michael Rose and Lea Snyder , three step grandchildren, Candice, Chrissy, and Charles Benson, a much loved sister in law, Vicki Atene, three cherished great-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Tawny Marie Walker and a great-grand daughter.
