Joseph Stanford, of Merchantville, passed away on April 21, 2024, at the age of 42. Born on November 5, 1981, Joseph's life was a testament to the power of positivity and the strength of familial bonds. He was a devoted father, a cherished son, a beloved brother, and a treasured uncle. His warm smile and generous spirit will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Joseph's dedication to his family was unparalleled. He is survived by his adoring daughter, Riley Stanford, who was the light of his life. Joseph also leaves behind a loving mother, Linda Stanford, who instilled in him the values of compassion and kindness that he carried throughout his life. His brothers, Scott and Matthew Stanford, will forever remember Joseph as a guiding force and a steadfast companion. His nieces and nephew, Olivia, Giannis, and Elia Stanford, will cherish the countless joyful memories and the enduring love he shared with them.
Professionally, Joseph was known for his strong work ethic and leadership as an assistant team leader at Whole Foods in Cherry Hill. Joseph's passion for his work was matched only by his dedication to his team, and he left an indelible mark on the community he served.
Outside of work, Joseph's interests brought joy not only to himself but also to those around him. An avid bowler, he could often be found perfecting his strikes and spares at the local alley. His love for sports extended to being a fervent fan of the New York Yankees and the LA Rams, sharing his enthusiasm and team spirit with friends and family alike.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Saturday, June 1st from 1 pm to 2 pm at the Gaskill-Brown Funeral Home, 33 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville. A memorial service will follow at 2pm. Interment will be private.
