Lawrence Collings, of Mays Landing, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 31st at the age of 70. Larry was a longtime letter carrier for the USPS and was still working at the time of his passing. He loved the outdoors, including fishing, hunting, boating, beach combing, and vacationing in Maine. He was looking forward to retiring and spending time on his kayak, playing his bass guitar, decorating his new house with vintage collectibles, and adopting a Yorkie in honor of his beloved dog Peanut. He had many exotic pet fish which brought him great amusement after a long day at work. He loved pizza, 70s rock, classic movies, and collecting shells and stones from the beach.
Brother-in-law of the late Robert Gagliardi, he is survived by his loving daughter, Felicia Dunsmuir (Cory); two beloved grandchildren, Arielle and Tucker; a dear sister, Nancy Gagliardi; and a cherished nephew, Nicholas Gagliardi.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Tuesday, June 7th from 10 to 11 am at the Gaskill-Brown Funeral Home, 33 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville. Funeral service will follow at 11 am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge (www.cedarrun.org)
