Marie B. Schatzle

Marie Ann Bernadette Schatzle of Philadelphia passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022. She was 71 years of age. Born in the Bronx, NY, she resided in Philadelphia for over 50 years. Marie worked in home health care as a profession. She was a devout Catholic and dearly loved her pets. Marie was a music fan and a particularly avid Elvis fan.
 

Beloved mother of the late Bernadette Felicia, who passed away in 1974, daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa Schatzle, and sister of the late Theresa Lacoff. Dear sister of Steven (Elsie), Joseph (Sue), Dorothy, Michael and Charles, and also survived by many loving and devoted nieces and nephews.
 

Relatives and friends are invited to Marie’s viewing and visitation with her family on Wednesday, August 24th, 9-9:45 am at the Gaskill-Brown Funeral Home, 33 W. Maple Ave, Merchantville. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 43 W. Maple Ave, Merchantville. Interment will be in Colestown Cemetery, Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities @catholiccharitiesusa.org.
