Obituary

Patricia "Patti" Mary Lee (nee Pine), 70, passed away on July 8th, 2022 due to complications from kidney disease. Patti was born in Pittsburgh, PA on March 24, 1952, the fourth of six siblings, and was raised in Delran, NJ. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles Pine and Madeline Pine of Cinnaminson and Browns Mills, NJ. After attending Riverside High School and Cinnaminson High School, Patti enrolled at Brandywine College, Kent State University, and Livingston College, and spent the rest of her life in Burlington County. An extraordinary and beloved person, she will be remembered for her warmth, wit, creativity, unique spirit, and sharp intelligence. Patti had a special way of making everyone feel loved and appreciated. She had a lifelong love of music, the radio, and her favorite DJs, cultivating an encyclopedic knowledge of pop, rock, and soul along with an impressive record collection. In her twenties, as an aspiring music journalist, she interviewed James Taylor. She wrote poetry, danced in Atlantic City as a member of the Riverside Rockettes, believed in peace and justice, loved fashion, was a committed vegetarian, and lived her very full life on her own terms. For many years, she lived at Aspen Hills in Pemberton, NJ where she formed special relationships with the staff and other residents.

Patti will be forever loved and missed by her family and friends, including siblings Susan Donaldson (John) of Waterbury, CT, Thomas Pine (Linda) of Mt. Laurel, NJ, Steve Pine of Riverside, NJ, Nancy Cundiff (Drew) of Delran, NJ, and Kathy Lippincott (John) of Browns Mills, NJ. She was a devoted aunt to Debbie Palmer Lee, Michael Palmer, Joanna Palmer Lacman, Lisa Casolo, Laurie Krantz, Karen Pine, Stephen Pine, Heather Phillips, Alan Pine, Kevin Pine, and Paige (Zim) Spear, and also is survived by an extensive network of cousins and great-nieces/nephews.

She will be interred at Colestown Cemetery in Cherry Hill, NJ following a private ceremony for immediate family.
