Richard Miller

Richard E. Miller, formerly of Wilmington, DE passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025. He was 76.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Richard lived in various locations across the country before settling in Wilmington, Delaware, where he built his career and family life. He dedicated his work at Burroughs (later Unisys) since 1974 supporting various computer equipment for financial, military, and hospitality customers. Richard married Rowe D. Miller in May 1979, and they were together until her passing in June 2021. He had a lifelong curiosity for computers, enjoyed listening to classic rock, watching car racing, and solving logic puzzles.

He is survived by his two sons Ronald Miller and Roy Miller; and four beloved grandchildren: twins Charlotte and Savannah (both age 5), children of Ronald; and Penelope (9) and Benjamin (7), children of Roy. Richard took great joy in watching his grandchildren grow.

His memorial service will be held 3 pm, August 16th at the Gaskill-Brown Funeral Home, 33 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville, NJ. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 2 pm until time of service. Livestream Link
