I was so surprised and saddened to hear of your loss. I worked for many years with Kathy at Temple. We had a special bond because we were the same age and had the same hope of spending time with family when we retired. i retired first in 2011 and then lost touch with her. The photos, especially the ones from work, brought back many fond memories. She was one of my favorite Temple people, a positive, loving woman with a heart of gold. When ever I needed help or just a kind person to talk to who would make me laugh, I sought her out. May your wonderful memories be a comfort as you grieve your loss.

Steve, Mike, Lisa and family,
I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am about Kathy's passing. From the moment I met her, I could feel her warmth and her incredibly positive energy. I know what a huge loss this is for your entire family and my hope is that her love she gave to everyone will continue to help you carry on. She was so proud of all of you and had her own special way of lighting up when talking about MJ or Bella! I will always remember Kathy for her kind spirit and love of family. Please know I'm here for whatever you need.
Love,
Nancy

I was deeply saddened to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and this incredibly sad time. Kathy was an amazing woman, her smile lit up a room, her calm spirit, and sage advice helped me throughout the years. She had a huge heart and was always willing to help others. May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared comfort the family now and in the days ahead. Kathy will be truly missed by her Temple family!

I'm sure Kathy is looking down on us and smiling and telling everyone how she did a great job raising 3 wonderful children and being the best mom mom ever and loving wife to my wonderful cousin, Stevie. It's hard to understand why she was taken from us so young however we were left with great memories and those memories will get everyone through this sad time. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I worked with Ms. Kathy and she always knew how to make me laugh. It was easy to tell she spent her time looking out for others .... what she could do to help others. I will always remember her kind words to me.
My thoughts go out to her family.... I know she loves her family very much. I write "loves" in the present, not the past, because she still does.....she will always.

Kathy,
I remember when we were standing in front of USB taking pictures the day before they were going to tear the building down, and we were saying how short life was and how we were gonna retire early, enjoy life and spend time with our families. Well, we both did it and I'm sure your family enjoyed the quality time that you spent with them. "Live each day to it's fullest because tomorrow is not promised to us". I remember saying that to you while you were smoking your cigarettes. I haven't seen you much since then because we were both sent to different locations because of the move but I always had you in my thoughts and we kept in touch on Facebook. R.I.P. Kathy, you will be missed.

We were so shocked to hear of Kathy's passing. We will always remember her smile and her stories of how much she loved and cared for her family. Family was #1 in her heart and it showed by the way she cared for her children and grandchildren. Kathy will be missed by many but never forgotten.

Mom,
I wake up expecting you to still be here, that all of this was just a terrible nightmare. I would give anything just to be able to tell you I love you again, and hear you tell me the same. I don't understand, and I never will, why you had to leave. Although I do not want to accept it, I know that you are in a better place now, where there is no pain and no suffering the way you were your last days with us. I know you continued to fight up until your last breath, but you just couldn't fight anymore. I am so sorry that I couldn't save you, or do anything to keep you safe, the way that you did for me and our family each and every day. I can't thank you enough for being the greatest mom and mom mom to me, Lisa, your best buddy M.J. and Bella. More importantly, thank you for being the greatest person I've ever met. You've taught all of us how to live, laugh, love, and treat people the way that they deserve to be treated, no matter what the circumstance. You're legacy is as beautiful as you are, and words will never be able to describe how much I will always love you, and how much I will forever miss you. I know you'll be looking down on us and leading us in the right direction for the rest of our lives until it is time to come home with you.
Love always,
Michael

You said it so eloquently. Your mother was the kindest person I knew. She always put her family first, and made all her friends feel like family. Kathy was loving, compassionate, and always understanding no matter the circumstances. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. God bless M.j. and Bella's guardian angel!

Michael I am so sorry for your loss. I know the DEEP PAIN you and your family are in. Not many that knew your mom understands why she was taken so soon. She was an amazing mother and adored all of you. She loved deeply and gave so easily. As time goes on you will feel her presence all around you. She was loved. Condolences and prayers to get through this. It is one of the most difficult times in our lives. Hang on and love each other. That would be her wish. She surrounds you all with all the angels.

Michael,
I am so sorry to hear of your tremendous loss. Your mother was an amazing person with a huge heart. Her energy was contagious - and I say that in a positive way. When I saw her on June 4th, I was messing with her because of her 'huge appetite.' We laughed a lot that day....and when we were leaving, she gave me a tight hug and told me she loved me! I wished her well because I knew of her planned surgery and I walked away. That visit will be a forever memory for me. My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family during this difficult time.
