Stella I. Dion

Stella Irene Dion (nee Wentzel), age 95, wife of the late Earl G. Dion, Jr., formerly of Cherry Hill, went home to Heaven on March 10, 2014. A resident at Brandywine Senior Living Estates, Moorestown, Stella never stopped caring for others. Born December 24, 1918 in Ontelaunee Township, Berks County, PA, Stella graduated from Sacred Heart School of Nursing in Allentown, PA, then went on to serve her country in the Army Nurse Corps in World War II. Nursing was her gift, and she touched many lives and hearts in her lifetime. 

She will be sadly missed by her children, Sandra L. Pine, Sharon R. Murray (Steven), Earl G. "Skip" Dion III, (Deborah), and David W. Dion, as well as 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. 

A celebration of her life will be held 1 pm, Saturday, March 11th at the First Presbyterian Church, 10 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville, NJ 08109.
