Virginia Z. Dykie

Virginia "Ginna" Z. Dykie (nee Zane), age 87, passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 at Virtua Hospital in Marlton. Born in Camden, Ginna was a longtime resident of Haddonfield before settling in Cherry Hill after retiring as Trauma Secretary for Thomas Jefferson Hospital from many years of caring service. Ginna was an extraordinarily thoughtful, caring, altruistic, "people person" who loved life, church, nature, and especially her son and family. When not helping others or not helping in her son's business, she could be found watching the Phillies, PBS programs, Hogan's Heroes, and enjoying fine food, distilled spirits, wine, & beers of quality.

Sister of the late Marjorie Simon/Solneck & Elizabeth Zane; Aunt of the late Chuck Simon & Michael Botte, she is survived by her loving son, Charles E. DiSipio and his life partner, Claudia Golden; three nieces, Bunnie Simon Brush, Deborah Dykie Meddings, Diane Botte-Curth; a nephew, Jack Dykie; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
